Introduction
British-Pakistani viral sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has released Bado Badi 2, the second rendition of his viral song, on Eid ul Adha. However, this time, he has decided not to upload the song on YouTube.
Why Not YouTube?
Chahat told Geo News that he avoided YouTube to steer clear of trouble. Last week, YouTube deleted the original Bado Badi hit after it garnered nearly 30 million views.
New Platform, New Model
The new version features a new model whose name remains unknown. The original video starred model Wajdan Rao, who later accused Chahat of underpaying her with only Rs5,000.
Future Plans
Chahat revealed his plans to release a series of Bado Badi versions:
- Bado Badi 3
- Bado Badi 4
- Bado Badi 5
He will not be releasing these on YouTube, citing jealousy and opposition hindering his channel's growth.
Controversy with Wajdan Rao
At a London press conference for his film Sabaq and the Bado Badi 2 release, Chahat humorously mimicked Wajdan Rao’s accusations. He claimed to have given her multiple opportunities over the past 2.5 years.
"I gave her work in 6 songs in the last 2.5 years and now she’s crying that I will not work with Chahat Fateh Ali Khan."
Chahat refuted her claims of feeling threatened, stating he has never harmed a fly and advised her to leverage her fame positively.
Debut Film - Sabaq
Chahat's debut film, Sabaq, directed by Faraz Ahmed, was also released on Eid. The film explores themes of classical singing, crime, love, and social media influence.
Director Faraz Ahmed praised Chahat's talent:
"Chahat is a great entertainer and a huge talent. This film is a tribute to his talent and this launches him formally as an actor."
Fans are eagerly watching Chahat's debut on his YouTube channel, marking a new milestone in his entertainment career.
